Posted on May 24th, 2007 at 4:06 pm by maria101 and
These few classes we have been playing a game that consists of research and lots of fun!
while playing this game I learnt a lot but these are a few things, did you know that during the renaissance paper money hadn’t been invented so you had to carry heavy coins around all the time. Did you ever bother to find that the umbrella was invented and only women used it because males didn’t like to.

Renaissance Interview Reflection
Posted on May 10th, 2007 at 4:49 pm by maria101 and
All of the recordings were awsome and I think it was such a good idea to record them, because it’s was funner than reading or making a poster and it even saves paper!
At class today we listened to everyones interview about there renaissance person. today i learnt that a lot of the famous people were painters or sculptures others were kings and queens and others were inventors.
I think this project was very fun but if I could re-do it I would either…
Make two of the renaissance people fight with each other
or
Record it but with a modern slang and older English.
But the project is good as it is. :)
Sir. Isaac Newton

When some one brought up the topic of “have you ever thought of why things always fall” i felt so ashamed to say “no actually i never thought about that” and just by saying that i started to wonder are there other little things that i never notice… well of course but lets go bit by bit. Isaac Newton was this first person that asked himself “why do things fall?” and he found out that there is a force called gravity that pulls everything towards itself. He discovered the three laws of gravity, he also made up calculus and helped the optic studies. he was a pretty interesting guy but he hated the attention he just wanted to get answers to all his questions. he was mean to people that complimented him about his work. even though he was such a great scientist there were things he liked better, what was a popular study at that time is how to make gold out of normal things and he loved it. when they studied his body after he died they found pieces of mercury (that could kill you).
