What is the issue?          President Bush is requested on Saturday 8,200 new troops to send to
Afghanistan and
Iraq. To do so he needs 3.2 billion American dollars. When just last January he sent 21,500 troops already. He needs the approval of the congress of the
United States. They need the money for various reasons in both countries. To
Afghanistan is mostly about police training, in
Iraq it’s mostly for the new
Baghdad security plan.  

Who is involved?          President Bush, The Congress. 

Who is effected and how?          
Afghanistan and
Iraq are both affected because they both needed help and with this large budget they have the help they need to train their police troops, and to help with the security of
Baghdad. The citizens of the
United States because the money that is used is actually taxes that the people of the U. S. A have to pay. The whole world is also affected because as
U. S. A. dose this they become more and more powerful. 

What would I do it I was directly involved?          If I was part of the congress I would see if there was any way to see if the people wanted help from the U. S. A who knows maybe they don’t. I would also see that since we have such a large budget if they need anything else like food or clothes.
