Are there People Today Willing to Give Up Their Lives for a Cause They Believe in?
Posted on February 24th, 2007 at 4:33 pm by maria101 and

Over many years people have learnt to be independent, most poeple are wling to go very far for what they want and or belive in some people are willing to die for it. In Europe there were a lot of people that did this because they wanted to get to the Holy Land in Jerusalem and it’s still happening and I can porve it to you because its appening llover the world like fundraisers or protestes. Now I’m going to tel you about Vietman, it has decided to protest against America because America has been promising better protection. This could just be ignored by Americaor it could turn into a war and a lot of people are going to die. :( So people haven’t change much everyone wil go far for something or someone they belive.

How Important was Religon to the People in the Middle Ages??
Posted on February 24th, 2007 at 3:45 pm by maria101 and

Religion as always been important but in the middle ages is was so imprtant that you could be killed if you said something disrespectful about God. The people who worked in the Church were usually the most educated and were the only ones who learned to read and write because when they were free they would copy from the bible which recuaiers reading and writing. There were many types of “jobs” in the Church you could be a monk, a priest, the pope, or a bishop. No matter what “job” you had wakening up early was something all these had in common. The word ‘holiday’ comes from ‘holy day’ such as easter, christmas, all saints day ect. All the jobs applied only for men. A monk would usully spend his day making bread to give to the poor helping the sick and teach people who were urious and wanted to know more about God.

At least 60 citizens of Iraq were killed in a separet of ferocious bomb and gun attacks, targeting mostly Shiite areas of the capital.

2 more American troops were reported murdered during a weekend fighting around Baghdad. At the same time, Iraqi officials say the Baghdad security plan has slightly lowered.

The daily number of bodies found with bullet holes and dumped in isolated places mostly waterways has continued  hanging dramatically from peaks of 60 or 70 per day in December to an average of 13 a day over the lasts weeks, according to unofficial hospital and police reports.

How Are Your Two Events Connected??

This new tragity is connected to Anthony’s because they both talk about Iraq and also because they are both based on what is said to be terrorism. Both of these terrible accidents could be the fault of the same poeple.

What Did You Find Interesting About This Topic??

I find this topic very intresting and important because people’s lives are getting ruined over these kinds of things and both of these tragic events happened to some of the same people which is terrible. If i could do anything to help I would these things happen all the time and sometimes a lot of times to the same people which is either bad timeing or people like messing with other people’s lives.
